Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 004-2026-EF/15.01

Approval of Reference Prices and Additional Variable Duties on Imports of Corn, Sugar, Rice, and Dairy Products

By Supreme Decree No. 115-2001-EF, Peru established a Price Band System applicable to imports of corn, sugar, rice, and whole milk.

Subsequently, Supreme Decree No. 055-2016-EF amended Articles 2, 4, and 7 of Supreme Decree No. 115-2001-EF, providing that: (i) reference prices will be published on a monthly basis and will remain in force until new reference prices are published; (ii) such prices will reflect the average price of the preceding month, based on quotations observed in the relevant international benchmark markets; and (iii) the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP) will update the Customs Tables on a semiannual basis and, on the first business day of each month, will provide the average reference prices for the prior month.

Additionally, Supreme Decree No. 338-2025-EF updated the Customs Tables applicable to imports of the products referred to above, with validity through December 31, 2026.

Accordingly, taking into account the amendments and updates described above, this Vice-Ministerial Resolution approves the reference prices—calculated based on international quotations observed between January 1 and January 31, 2026—and the additional variable duties applicable to imports of corn, rice, sugar, and whole milk powder under the Price Band System regulated by Supreme Decree No. 115-2001-EF, as set out below:
