Carlos is a founding partner with 22 years of professional experience in tax advisory and international trade and customs matters. He has served as an International Partner at Deloitte Peru, as a partner at Gálvez, Risso & Asociados, and as a Senior Manager leading KPMG Peru’s Tax Advisory and Tax Procedures practice. His work focuses on tax and international trade advisory, local and international tax planning, support in tax and customs audits, representation in administrative and judicial proceedings, and the development and implementation of tax technology projects.

He earned his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and completed postgraduate studies in International Taxation at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Madrid, Spain) and Universidad Austral (Buenos Aires, Argentina). He also pursued postgraduate studies in international trade and customs at SUNAT’s Tax and Customs Administration Institute, as well as master’s-level studies in Taxation at PUCP. He is a certified Customs Broker.
