Elkin is an Associate with broad professional experience in accounting and tax matters. Throughout his career, he has advised companies across a range of industries. He worked at EY Peru, as well as at other consulting firms and private companies, which has allowed him to develop a well-rounded perspective on corporate tax management.

He primarily focuses on monthly tax compliance reviews, annual Corporate Income Tax review and close, preventive tax diagnostics, support during audits and verification procedures before Peru’s tax authority (SUNAT), and the analysis and optimization of tax credits (income tax credit balances, VAT/IGV, withholdings, perceptions, and ITAN).

He also handles a wide range of tax queries—both operational and strategic—aimed at preventing contingencies and improving internal processes. His experience includes designing and implementing defense strategies against tax adjustments assessed by SUNAT, drafting response submissions and appeals, and providing technical accounting support throughout the audit process. He also actively participates in tax due diligence engagements, corporate reorganizations, and related matters.

He is a Certified Public Accountant, with a degree from Universidad Nacional del Callao. He holds a specialization in Taxation from Universidad de Lima and a postgraduate diploma in Taxation from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. In addition, he has complemented his training with multiple courses in accounting and tax regulations, as well as administrative procedures before SUNAT.
