The State of Emergency is extended due to the impacts of COVID-19
- The referenced regulation extends the State of Emergency for thirty (30) calendar days, starting on April 1, 2022. It also establishes the mandatory requirement to prove having received three (3) COVID-19 vaccine doses for: those who perform in-person work at their workplace; and adults over 18 who enter public and private venues, provided they are eligible to receive the doses under the current protocol. Vaccines administered in Peru and abroad are considered valid.
- It should be noted that, for a maximum period of fifteen (15) calendar days counted from the date this regulation enters into force, private-sector service providers and public-sector workers who have not received the third dose may continue performing in-person work.
- This regulation enters into force on April 1, 2022.
