DECISION No. 05 OF THE FREE TRADE COMMISSION OF THE FREE TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF COSTA RICA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF PERU TO ADOPT THE UPDATE OF ANNEX 3 (SPECIFIC RULES OF ORIGIN) TO THE HARMONIZED SYSTEM 2022

It should be noted that the Harmonized System (Fourth Amendment) was updated in the years 2012 (Fifth Amendment), 2017 (Sixth Amendment), and 2022 (Seventh Amendment). Accordingly, it is necessary to update the changes made to Annex 3 of the Agreement, since it was negotiated taking into account the 2007 version.

Consequently, through this Decision, the update of Annex 03 of the Agreement to the 2022 version of the Harmonized System (Seventh Amendment) is adopted, in order to facilitate bilateral trade between the Republic of Peru and the Republic of Costa Rica.

This Decision shall enter into force sixty (60) days after the date of the last notification in which the Parties communicate the completion of their respective internal legal procedures, or on the date agreed by the Parties.
