The referenced regulation amends Articles 24 and 152 of Law No. 29571 (Consumer Protection and Defense Code), reducing the time limit for handling complaints filed by consumers. Therefore, commercial establishments are required to respond within a period not exceeding fifteen (15) business days, which is non-extendable.

It is also specified that the regulation will enter into force sixty (60) calendar days starting from the day after its publication.
