Through Superintendency Resolution No. 000131-2022/SUNAT, the specific procedure “Non-intrusive inspection of goods” CONTROL-PE.00.10 (version 1) was approved, which establishes the guidelines for the non-intrusive inspection of goods, cargo units and vehicles entering or leaving the national territory.
Likewise, through Superintendency Resolution No. 024-2020/SUNAT, the general procedure “Definitive exportation” DESPA-PG.02 (version 7) was approved, which regulates the customs clearance of goods destined for the definitive exportation regime.
The Customs Administration stated that it is necessary to modify the specific procedure “Non-intrusive inspection of goods” in order to incorporate the Chancay Customs Office, regulate new cases related to the transfer of goods to the non-intrusive control zone, incorporate additional grounds for cancellation of the non-intrusive inspection and define the concept of “failed scan” and its operational effects, among others.
Likewise, the general procedure “Definitive exportation” must also be modified, in order to specify the application of the specific procedure “Non-intrusive inspection of goods”, and thus achieve proper integration into the export clearance process, ensuring operational coherence between both procedural frameworks.
In this regard, through Superintendency Resolution No. 000101-2026/SUNAT, the specific procedure “Non-intrusive inspection of goods” CONTROL-PE.00.10 (version 1) and the general procedure “Definitive exportation” DESPA- PG.02 (version 7) are modified, in order to strengthen the speed, transparency and legal certainty of customs control actions
