THE TEXT OF COMPLEMENTARY TECHNICAL STANDARD NTC 001-2013 “MAXIMUM NOISE LEVELS FOR AIRCRAFT DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN THAT OPERATE IN PERU AND THE ACCEPTANCE AND ISSUANCE PROCEDURES FOR NOISE CERTIFICATION CERTIFICATES” IS APPROVED

As noted in Article 2 of the Regulations to Peru’s Civil Aeronautics Law, the technical and operational aspects that govern civil aeronautical activities are regulated, among others, by complementary technical standards.

On 07.06.2013, Complementary Technical Standard “Maximum noise levels for domestic and foreign aircraft operating in Peru and the acceptance and issuance procedures for noise certification certificates” was approved, which has been subject to a regulatory drafting process for its amendment, in line with the need to ensure consistency between our regulations and international standards, specifically Amendment 14 to Volume I of Annex 16 to the Convention on Civil Aviation.

In this regard, it is important to note that, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Supreme Decree No. 001-2019-JUS, it was established that public entities shall publish general legal regulations within their competence through electronic means, so that a public dissemination may be carried out for a period of no less than thirty days prior to the scheduled effective date of the respective regulation.
