Operational Procedure for the extraordinary and optional withdrawal of AFP funds
It is established that any member who decides to withdraw their funds must submit their request for an extraordinary and optional withdrawal only once, indicating the amount they intend to withdraw, within a maximum period of ninety (90) calendar days, counted from the date the resolution approving the Operational Procedure enters into force. If the member wishes to stop withdrawing their funds, they must request this only once from the administrator ten (10) calendar days before the disbursement.
It should be noted that the resolution discussed establishes, among other provisions, the deadlines for making the disbursements as follows: (i) the first disbursement, for 1 Tax Unit (UIT), within a maximum of 30 calendar days, counted from the date the request was submitted to the AFP; (ii) the second disbursement, for 1 UIT, within a maximum of 30 days from the date the first disbursement was made; and (iii) the third disbursement, for 2 UIT, within a maximum of 30 calendar days, counted from the date the second disbursement was made. Members who are abroad or are physically unable to do so may submit their withdrawal request or withdrawal cancellation (desistimiento) through the channels and formats enabled for that purpose.
